A total of 32 cars are on the initial entry list for next weekend’s Pirelli World Challenge SprintX event at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, with additional cars still expected to be added for the second round of the season.

ENTRY LIST: CTMP

The provisional entry features 12 GT Pro-Pro class cars, headlined by CRP Racing’s Ryan Dalziel and Daniel Morad, who claimed victory in the season-opening round at Virginia International Raceway last month.

VIR Race 1 winners TR3 Racing, however, has a revised lineup for CTMP, with 2012 European F3 Open champion Niccolo Schiro joining Daniel Mancinelli in the No. 31 Ferrari 488 GT3 car in place of Andrea Montermini.

A second R. Ferri Motorsport Ferrari, meanwhile, has been added for Terry Borcheller and Marc Muzzo, which will compete for GT Pro-Am class honors with a previous-generation 458 Italia GT3.

Entries from McCann Racing (Audi R8 LMS), DIME Racing (Lamborghini Huracan GT3) and MCC Motorsports (Mercedes-AMG GT3) have yet to appear, with at least DIME expected, and potentially with an expanded two-car effort.

PWC can run as many as 36 cars in the SprintX races, per the sporting regulations, although there is space for only 32 pit boxes.

The Sprint GTS division, which runs as separate 50-minute single-driver races, currently sees a 20-car entry for the Canadian round.

Among the additions is the series debut of Volt Racing’s McLaren 570S GT4s for Alan Brynjolfsson and Chris Hall, who started the year in the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, as well as the second JCR Motorsports Maserati GT4 for Fred Roberts.

Jade Buford is listed to return to the wheel of the No. 45 Racers Edge Motorsports SIN R1 GT4, with ANSA Motorsports only having one KTM X-Bow GT4 entered, for Bill Ziegler, following Nico Jamin’s sweep of the weekend at VIR.

Official track action for SprintX and GTS begins on Fri. May 19, with races set for Saturday and Sunday.
