Buford Quickest in GTS Practice 1 at CTMP

Jade Buford led the way in the first of two Pirelli World Challenge GTS practice sessions for this weekend’s Sprint event at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Buford, in the No. 55 PF Racing Ford Mustang GT4, laid down a 1:24.059 in the 40-minute session, which ran without major incident.

Defending GTS champion Lawson Aschenbach was second on the time sheets in the No. 1 Blackdog Speed Shop Camaro GT4.R.

The No. 89 JCR Motorsports Maserati GT4 of Fred Roberts, meanwhile, posted the third quickest time overall and was fastest of the GTSA competitors.

Shane Lewis and James Sofronas completed the top-five overall for Robinson Racing and GMG Racing, respectively.

The second and final GTS practice of the day is on tap for 4:40 p.m. ET.
