Daniel Mancinelli has topped the time charts in opening Pirelli World Challenge practice for this weekend’s Sprint round at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
The TR3 Racing driver broke the previous PWC track record, having reeled off a 1:14.811 in his No. 31 Ferrari 488 GT3 in the 40-minute session.
Mancinelli edged out the No. 9 K-PAX Racing Bentley Continental GT3 of Alvaro Parente by 0.020 seconds.
The No. 24 Alegra Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R of Michael Christensen was third, followed by championship leader Scott Hargrove, also in a Porsche, in fourth.
Daniel Morad, meanwhile, made it four different manufacturers in the top-five in his No. 2 CRP Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3.
Martin Fuentes, meanwhile, led the way in GTA, posting the 7th quickest time overall.
No major incidents were reported in the session.
