IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge has retained its headline, four-hour event at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course as part of an unchanged, ten-race schedule for the 2025 season.

The calendar was presented on Friday alongside the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship schedule, ahead of this weekend’s 72nd running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Cadillac.

All ten venues that feature on the 2024 schedule have been retained, with the season kicking off with the traditional four-hour BMW M Endurance Challenge at Daytona International Speedway in January and finishing at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in October.

After Daytona, the series heads to Sebring International Raceway and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca before a second four-hour race, the headline event at Mid-Ohio that is set to return later this year, scheduled for June 6-8.

As is the case this year, the Mid-Ohio event marks the only time that the Pilot Challenge does not run in support of the WeatherTech Championship.

The four-hour headliner is followed by visits to Watkins Glen International, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Road America and Virginia International Raceway.

A single event in September will see Pilot Challenge link up with the WeatherTech Championship’s Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway before the season wraps up at with a two-hour race at Road Atlanta.

Pilot Challenge will form part of the Roar Before the Rolex 24 weekend on Jan. 17-19, although participation in the Roar is not mandatory for series competitors.
