The GTD class will head into next weekend’s Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach with no performance-related adjustments following the release of the Balance of Performance table for the third round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

Issued on Monday, the table confirms no weight or power changes to any of the GT3-spec cars, although there have been fuel capacity adjustments to the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R (-2 liters), Porsche 911 GT3 R (-3 liters) and Ford Mustang GT3 (+2 liters).

Long Beach will mark the second event of the season of IMSA’s rolled-back BoP process after reverting to its previous system utilized in the 2023 season.

The 100-minute race will feature only the GTP and GTD classes, with the prototype category undergoing slight tweaks from the configuration used in last month’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Cadillac.

The Acura ARX-06 will be 5 kg heavier, although with a 3 kW (4 horsepower) increase in maximum power. The BMW M Hybrid V8 will also get a 3 kW boost, with the Porsche 963 receiving 5 kW of additional power (6.7 horsepower) although with a 3 kg increase in minimum weight.

Cadillac’s V-Series.R, meanwhile, remains at the same 520 kW maximum power level but with a 2 kg weight break since Sebring.

The entry list for the race is expected to be released on Wednesday.
