RS1 Porsche Tops Second Practice at Sebring

The No. 28 RS1 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport of Eric Filgueiras and John Capestro-Dubets led the way following the second and final Pirelli GT4 America practice session of the day at Sebring International Raceway.

Silver class cars occupied the top three positions overall in the 45-minute afternoon practice session, with the RS1 Porsche having reeled off a best time of 2:10.611.

It was nearly a half-second quicker than Jonathan Neudorf’s No. 23 TechSport Nissan Z NISMO GT4, which ended the session second in class.

Parker Thompson, who led the way in the opening session on Friday, was third quickest in Practice 2 in the No. 999 Hanley Motorsports Toyota GR Supra GT4.

The No. 9 Blackdog Racing Nissan of Max Root was quickest in the Pro-Am class with the fourth best time overall, followed by the Am class-leading No. 18 RS1 Porsche of Roland and Austin Krainz.

Qualifying for GT4 America competitors is scheduled for Saturday at 10:20 a.m. EDT.
