A 26-car GT3 field consisting of eight manufacturers headlines a 61-car provisional entry list for the 20th edition of the Michelin 24H Dubai.

Audi, Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche are all slated to be represented by multiple teams during the Middle Eastern enduro, which is due to take place on Jan. 10-12.

Although defending winners Eastalent Racing Team do not appear on the entry, Audi will seek to defend its crown with representation from HAAS RT, as well as Car Collection Motorsport and Emirati squad Continental Racing.

Car Collection will notably field a multi-brand effort at the event, as it also enters a single Porsche 911 GT3 R alongside its Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II.

Porsche is the best represented GT3 brand on the provisional entry with five cars as Car Collection are joined by GP Elite, series regulars Herberth Motorsport and two-car effort from Proton Huber Competition.

Mercedes-AMG, meanwhile, can count on four entries from HOFOR Racing, MP Motorsport, Team Motopark and PTT Racing.

Several European squads will be on the grid with multi-car efforts, with Optimum Motorsport, Century Motorsport and Comtoyou Racing all fielding two cars each.

Newly crowned CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa winners Comtoyou has entered a pair of Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evos for its event debut, while the British brand is also represented by Blackthorn.

Leipert Motorsport and Barwell Motorsport are joined by ARC Bratislava as the three teams running Lamborghini machinery, while Ferrari is represented by a two-car effort from local outfit Dragon Racing.

“We’re extremely proud that our most celebrated event – the 24H Dubai – will be held for the 20th time in January, and to see the number of teams that have already put their names down for this historic edition shows just how significant the event has become over the last two decades,” said Creventic operational manager Peter Freij.

“With plenty of time left to register, we’re confident this entry list will continue growing from strength-to-strength over the coming months, and we’re very much looking forward to starting a brand-new partnership with Michelin on a high note.”
