John Capestro-Dubets and Zac Anderson have claimed pole positions for this weekend’s Pirelli GT4 America races at Road America.

Capestro-Dubets will start this evening’s Race 1 from the top spot, thanks to a 2:15.897 lap time in the No. 28 RS1 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport.

He edged out the No. 68 Smooge Racing Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO of Tyler Gonzalez by 0.184 seconds in the fast-paced 15-minute session, which saw the two drivers exchange provisional pole.

Roman De Angelis qualified third overall and first in Pro-Am in the No. 24 Heart of Racing Team Aston Martin Vantage GT4, with Silver class competitors Colin Garrett and Hannah Grisham rounding out the overall top-five.

Kevin Boehm was sixth quickest in the No. 97 Random Vandals Racing BMW M4 GT4, followed by Pro-Am competitor Curt Swearingin, who qualified second in class in his No. 7 ACI Motorsports Porsche.

Am class pole honors for Race 1, meanwhile, went to James Clay in the No. 36 BimmerWorld BMW in 12th overall.

Q2 also saw Anderson take his No. 51 AutoTechnic Racing BMW to a chart-topping 2:15.380, which was just 0.090 seconds clear of second-placed Kenton Koch in the No. 97 Random Vandals Racing BMW.

Tyler McQuarrie qualified third overall and first in Pro-Am in his No. 82 BimmerWorld entry.

The session saw an accident for Andy Lee in the No. 5 Flying Lizard Motorsports Nissan Z NISMO GT4, who was able to limp the damaged Pro-Am class car back to the pits, which kept the session green.

Jaden Lander claimed the Am class pole in the No. 099 Rotek Racing Porsche.

The first race of the weekend is set for a 5 p.m. CDT start this evening, which will be streamed live on SRO’s GT World YouTube channel and on Twitch.
