Jules Gounon went quickest in the third and final Free Practice session for the Lenovo Gulf 12 Hours.
The Mercedes-AMG factory driver steered the No. 4 2 Seas Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo to a best lap of 1:52.204.
Gounon’s time, the fastest recorded across the three Free Practice sessions held on Saturday, was 0.134 seconds quicker than the second-placed No. 51 AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 driven by Eliseo Donno.
Philippe Prette took third in the No. 8 Garage 59 McLaren 720S GT3 Evo, ahead of David Perel’s No. 55 Rinaldi Racing Ferrari and the No. 25 Sainteloc Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II that led second practice.
Fran Rueda picked up sixth for Kessel Racing, ahead of Racing One’s Giacomo Altoe and the second Garage 59 McLaren piloted by Benjamin Goethe.
Kessel’s No. 11 Ferrari and the No. 26 Sainteloc Racing Audi completed the overall top ten.
The two-hour session was triggered by a single red flag, triggered when Adam Konopka crashed the No. 44 ARC Bratislava Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo at Turn 14 after 30 minutes.
