Enzo and Pietro Fittipaldi will team up at Pratt Miller Motorsports for January’s Rolex 24 at Daytona, with the latter once again forming a full season IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship pairing with Chris Cumming.
The elder Fittipaldi and Cumming will be joined by Manuel Espirito Santo for the Michelin Endurance Cup rounds, with the younger of the two Fittipaldi brothers completing the lineup for the Florida endurance classic.
It will mark the first time that the two Brazilians, grandsons of double Formula 1 world champion and two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Emerson Fittipaldi, have shared a car.
Enzo Fittipaldi is fresh off a debut season in LMP2 racing for CLX Motorsport in the European Le Mans Series and will compete in Indy NXT with HMD Motorsports next year.
His older brother Pietro, meanwhile, has several seasons of LMP2 experience under his belt and formed of Pratt Miller’s debut LMP2 campaign this past year. He and Cumming secured a best finish of sixth at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
