Pegram Racing has made the switch from Hyundai to Honda TCR machinery in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge this year, fielding a Civic FL5 TCR.
The Ohio-based team, featuring the father-daughter pairing of Larry and Riley Pegram, will kick off the season in this week’s season-opener at Daytona International Speedway with a revised lineup following an accident for the former superbike racer in a test last month.
Pegram will be replaced by two-time IMSA GTD champion and former Acura factory driver Mario Farnbacher, alongside Riley Pegram for the four-hour BMW M Endurance Challenge on Friday.
“With Pegram Racing, this truly feels like a homecoming,” said Larry Pegram. “Twenty years ago, I signed with Honda on two wheels, and now to be back with the brand in IMSA is incredibly special.”
Riley added: “I am beyond excited to be back this year and to be supported by such an incredible manufacturer.
“I have big plans for 2026, and this partnership is going to be a huge part of my development, not only as a driver, but also as a team manager.
“We’re building something special, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.”
