TR3 Racing will make its return to GT World Challenge America powered by AWS competition this year, fielding a Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo for Will Bamber and Brayton Williams.

The Pro-Am class entry marks the South Florida-based team’s first time back in the SRO America paddock since 2023.

Both drivers are set for their GTWC America debuts, with Bamber moving over following a successful season of Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America with TR3 last year.

The Kiwi will be joined by Williams, who has been part of a comprehensive testing program with the Mercedes-AMG to prepare himself for his top-level GT3 debut.

“I’m thrilled to join TR3 Racing and Williams International for the GT World Challenge America
season,” said Bamber.

“TR3 is more than a team – it’s a family—and I’m excited to build on last season’s success.

“Racing alongside Brayton Williams, a massive emerging talent, for his inaugural season in sports car
competition is extremely exciting.

“I can’t wait to push the Mercedes-AMG GT3 to the limit at some of my favorite tracks in North America.”

Williams added: “The opportunity to race at this level is both an honor and a privilege, and I’m extremely motivated to make the most of it.

“I would like to sincerely thank Will Bamber for his belief and dedication, TR3 for the opportunity and continued support, and Williams International for standing behind me on this journey.

“Their confidence and commitment have made this program possible and I’m grateful to be representing such outstanding partners.”

Team owner Gregory Romanelli added: “With much of our core crew returning from previous campaigns, it feels like getting back to our roots while also embracing an exciting new format that energizes the entire team.

“We’re motivated, prepared, and very excited for what lies ahead in 2026.”

The GTWC America season kicks off at Sonoma Raceway on March 27-29.
