Pratt Miller Motorsports’ three entries for this weekend’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring will feature patriotic Mobil 1-themed liveries, it has been revealed.
The Detroit squad, which fields Corvette Racing’s factory supported Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.Rs in the GTD Pro class, as well as an Oreca 07 Gibson in LMP2, took the wraps off its red, white and blue-colored designs on Monday ahead of the second round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.
Released on social media, the team states the designs are to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S.
Defending GTD Pro class champions Antonio Garcia and Alexander Sims will again be joined by Marvin Kirchhoefer in the No. 3 Corvette, with Tommy Milner, Nicky Catsburg and Nico Varrone in the No. 4 entry.
Of note, both Garcia and Milner are both set to make their 20th consecutive 12 Hours of Sebring starts.
Pratt Miller’s LMP2 car, meanwhile, will be steered by Pietro Fittipaldi, Manuel Espirito Santo and Chris Cumming.
Additional special liveries for this weekend’s race are expected from at least one other team.
