Kohlbecker Grabs Pole for Barber Race 2

Spike Kohlbecker continued his fine form at Barber Motorsports Park on Sunday morning, grabbing pole for the second Toyota GR Cup North America race of the weekend.

The TechSport Racing driver, who drove to a controlling Race 1 victory on Saturday, topped the time charts in the 15-minute qualifying session, having posted a 1:26.484 lap time.

It was nearly four-tenths clear of the competition, with title challenger Jeremy Fletcher ending up second, thanks to a late session improvement in his No. 22 Copeland Motorsport Toyota GR 86 Cup.

Erhan Ayars will start third in his No. 78 BSI Racing entry, with Ethan Goulart fourth in the sister No. 72 entry and RVA Graphics Motorsport by Speed Syndicate driver Will Robusto completing the top-five.

The 45-minute contest gets underway at 10:25 a.m CST with live coverage on GRCup.com and SRO’s GT World YouTube channel.
