IMSA has finalized the Balance of Performance for next week’s Rolex 24 at Daytona in a Technical Bulletin issued Friday.

The GT classes had been more or less set, with only the Prototype categories awaiting their final specifications.

All P class cars are set to run nearly as they did at the Roar Before the Rolex 24, with only one car getting a notable adjustment.

The Ligier JS P2 Judd, in the hands of Krohn Racing, has received a 40 kg minimum weight reduction to 900 kg.

It will run 40 kg lighter than the sister Honda-powered Ligier JS P2 campaigned by Michael Shank Racing and the pair of HPD ARX-04b coupes fielded by Tequila Patron ESM.

Additionally, the majority of P class cars have received a fuel capacity increase, with all three P2 cars now running at 78.3 liter capacity, with the Riley-Ford DP at 78 liters and Corvette DP at 76 liters.

The Mazda SKYACTIV-D prototype, meanwhile, has been confirmed at a 55 mm air restrictor but with a 5 mm increase in refueling restrictor.

In GT Daytona, the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 has received a 150 max rpm increase up to 8,400. Additionally, the BMW Z4 GT3 and Porsche 911 GT America have each been issued a 10 mm gurney increase.

Fuel tank capacities have also been increased for cars in both of the production-based categories as well.

Practice for the Rolex 24 begins on Thursday.
