Five cars have received post-race time penalties for infringements in Sunday’s Four Hours of Le Castellet, including the No. 32 United Autosports Ligier JS P217 Gibson, which has lost its podium finish as a result.
The Anglo-American squad’s Ligier, as well as the No. 15 RLR Motorsport Ligier JS P3 Nissan, No. 5 By Speed Factory Ligier and No. 12 Eurointernational Ligier have all been given 30-second time penalties for Full Course Yellow infringements.
A 10-second penalty, meanwhile, has been awarded to the No. 77 Proton Competition for mechanics remaining in the working area as the car left the pit during its final stop.
The penalty for the Filipe Albuquerque, Will Owen and Hugo de Sadeleer-driven entry has dropped the LMP2 championship-contending United entry to a 5th place finish and promoting the No. 39 Graff Oreca 07 Gibson to third in the final classification.
