Rossiter Replaces Lynn for Fuji

James Rossiter has replaced Alex Lynn at G-Drive Racing for next month’s Six Hours of Fuji, in one of several driver changes for the seventh round of the FIA World Endurance Championship season.

The Super GT veteran, who started the season in the ByKolles ENSO CLM P1/01 NISMO, will make his first LMP2 start of the year in the TDS-run, Russian-backed No. 26 Oreca 07 Gibson alongside Roman Rusinov and Pierre Thiriet.

No word has been given whether the change is for the Japanese round only, or if Lynn will focus on his pre-season Formula E commitments instead.

A total of 26 cars are again entered for the Oct. 13-15 race, with Anthony Davidson set to return to the No. 8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid after missing the Circuit of The Americas round, which saw Stephane Sarrazin sub alongside Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima.

Mike Hedlund, meanwhile, is set to drive the No. 86 Gulf Racing Porsche 911 RSR alongside Ben Barker and Nick Foster, taking the seat of team principal Michael Wainwright, with the No. 97 Aston Martin Vantage GTE, as expected, reverting to a two-driver lineup in Darren Turner and Jonny Adam.
