ERC’s Buurman, Mowle Win British GT Enduro at Rockingham
Yelmer Buurman and Lee Mowle won the two-hour British GT Championship race at Rockingham on Sunday coming from the back in their ERC Sport Mercedes-AMG GT3.
Four safety car periods and several penalty-affected cars allowed the No. 116 Mercedes to move into the lead of the race by passing Phil Keen while leader Maxime Martin had to serve a drive-through penalty for track limits abuse.
Marco Sorensen and Derek Johnston finished second on track but were given a 30-second post-race penalty for contact with Rick Parfitt Jr.
This promoted Team Parker Racing’s Ian Loggie and Callum Macleod to second while Darren Turner and Andrew Howard completed the podium for Beechdean AMR.
Patrik Matthiesen and Callum Pointon claimed their first GT4 class wins for HHC Motorsport, meanwhile.
The No. 55 Ginetta G55 GT4 finished 23 seconds out front while Jesse Anttila and Stephen Johansen came home second for UltraTek Racing Team RJN in the No. 54 Nissan 370Z GT4.

Eversley, Wilkins Take PWC TCR Wins in Virginia
Ryan Eversley and Mark Wilkins shared the wins in Rounds 3 and 4 of the Pirelli World Challenge TCR season at Virginia International Raceway.
The two drivers battled for the lead in Saturday’s opening race but a mechanical issue for the No. 99 Hyundai i30 N TCR took the Bryan Herta Autosport driver out of contention.
This gave the win to Eversley, driving the No. 43 RealTime Racing Honda Civic Type-R TCR.
Wilkins was able to bounce back on Sunday in the second race, meanwhile, taking his second win in the first four races of the TCR season.
Eversley finished second in Race 2, seven seconds down on the winning Hyundai.
Jerimy Daniel completed the podium in both races, driving his Audi Sport RS 3 LMS run by The Racing Company.
