Billy Johnson and Jonathan Bomarito will drive for Ford Chip Ganassi Racing in next month’s FIA World Endurance Championship round at Sebring International Raceway.

Johnson will partner No. 66 drivers Olivier Pla and Stefan Muecke for the third time this season, while Bomarito is set to make his Ford GT debut in the No. 67 car with Andy Priaulx and Harry Tincknell.

2013 Indy 500 winner Tony Kanaan joined Priaulx and Tincknell for the season-opening 6 Hours of Spa and last summer’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, but will not feature in the team’s lineup for the 1000-mile American enduro.

The announcement means Bomarito and Tincknell are now set to contest both main races of the WEC and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship double-header weekend together.

The pair co-drive a Mazda RT24-P in the IMSA DPi class and are being joined by Ford teammate Pla for the Michelin North American Endurance Cup races this season, including the Mobil 12 Twelve Hours of Sebring.

Ford and Mazda’s international sports car programs are each connected to Multimatic, which developed both the Ford GT and Mazda DPi.

Porsche and Aston Martin are now the only GTE-Pro manufacturers that still have ‘TBA’ driver slots to fill for the WEC’s first visit to Sebring in seven years.
