FFF Racing Team formally revealed its Blancpain GT Series program on Friday, confirming driver lineups for its trio of Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evos.
Sportscar365 confirmed last month that the team, which is led by Lamborghini factory driver Andrea Caldarelli, would expand into a wide-scale European GT3 program after several months of rumors.
It will compete as Orange1 FFF Racing with three cars in both the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup and Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe.
This makes it the biggest program confirmed for the European GT3 series so far this season.
Caldarelli, who has competed in Grasser Racing Team’s lead Lamborghini in recent seasons, will drive one of his team’s cars with Marco Mapelli, with the pair joined by Dennis Lind for the Endurance rounds.
Factory drivers Phil Keen, Franck Perera and Giovanni Venturini will share another car for the Endurance Cup, while Keen will co-drive with Hiroshi Hamaguchi in the Pro-Am Cup for the sprint rounds.
A young trio of Diego Menchaca, Taylor Proto and Michele Beretta will drive the third car in the Silver Cup, with Menchaca and Proto on board for the GT World Challenge sprint rounds.
“This is going to be an amazing season for our team,” commented team owner Fu Songyang.
“In less than five years our crews have been able to reach really high standards, which is our main goal also as FFF Automotive.”
