Action Express Racing led a Cadillac 1-2-3 out front as the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring entered its final three hours.

Felipe Nasr assumed the lead in the No. 31 Whelen Engineering Cadillac DPi-V.R after interim leader Brendon Hartley brought the sister No. 5 Mustang Sampling Cadillac in for a pit service.

At the end of nine hours, Nasr held a 40-second lead over Renger van der Zande in the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac DPi with Hartley emerging in third position.

The first cars off the lead lap were the No. 54 Nissan DPi of Colin Braun, who is being chased by Stephen Simpson in the No. 84 JDC-Miller Motorsports Cadillac DPi which dropped off the lead lap to leave only the top three cars out front.

Ricky Taylor is closing in on the pair in the No. 7 Team Penske Acura ARX-05 DPi, while Misha Goikhberg is also a single lap down in the second JDC-Miller Cadillac.

The No. 67 Ford GT has continued to set down a strong pace at the head of the GTE-Pro field with Scott Dixon leading the majority of the third quarter.

Dixon handed over to Richard Westbrook at the end of hour eight and the Englishman maintained the 20-second lead that had been given to him over the No. 3 Chevrolet Corvette C7.R with Jan Magnussen strapped in.

Ford’s 1-2 at the front of the class pack was dismantled when Dirk Muller was overtaken by Magnussen and then Jesse Krohn in the No. 24 Team RLL BMW M8 GTE.

Mueller’s co-driver Sebastien Bourdais managed to recover the position lost to the BMW and is now around five seconds behind the second-placed Corvette.

GRT Grasser Racing’s Lamborghini Huracan GT3 pitted just before the 10-hour mark to hand over the GT Daytona lead to Trent Hindman in the best of the Meyer Shank Racing Acura NSX GT3s.

Hindman entered the final three hours with a five second margin of comfort over Felipe Fraga in the Riley-entered Mercedes-AMG GT3.

LMP2 continues to be commanded by the Performance Tech Motorsports Oreca 07 Gibson which is running 17th overall between the GTLM and GTD fields.
