Black Falcon Reveals Three-Car Spa 24H Assault

Team Black Falcon has confirmed its plans to enter three Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 cars in this month’s 24 Hours of Spa, round four of the 2014 Blancpain Endurance Series.

Two Black Falcon cars were initially entered for Spa in the Pro Cup category, but the team has now added a Pro-Am Cup entry as well.

Blancpain Endurance Series regular drivers Abdulaziz Turki AlFaisal, Andreas Simonen and Hubert Haupt will share the first of the two Pro Cup cars, with Yelmer Buurman, Adam Christodoulou and Mike Parisy joining the team in the second Pro Cup entry.

Buurman and Christodoulou competed in the Nürburgring 24 Hours for Black Falcon recently, while Parisy joined Black Falcon in the Blancpain Endurance Series at the Nürburgring in 2012.

Australian GT Championship leader Richard Muscat will part of the lineup of the third Mercedes. He will team up with Black Falcon’s regular Blancpain Endurance Series driver Vladimir Lunkin and Saud Turki AlFaisal, who currently races in EuroFormula Open.
