Iron Lynx will expand to a three-car operation in next weekend’s Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup round at Paul Ricard with the addition of the first-ever all-female driver lineup in series’ history.
IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship veteran Katherine Legge will be joined by Doriane Pin and Sarah Bovy behind the wheel of an Iron Dames Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020 in the Pro-Am class.
It comes in addition to the the team’s two existing full-season Pro class entries of Callum Ilot, Davide Rigon, Nicklas Nielsen and Antonio Fuoco, Alessandro Pier Guidi and Come Ledogar.
The Italian squad regularly features all-female lineups in ACO-run championships including the FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series.
“We have a phenomenal line-up in Doriane, Sarah and Katherine,” said project leader and founder Deborah Mayer.
“Doriane joins us as a very impressive finalist from the FIA Girls on Track – Rising Stars program, which also gave us Maya Weug, who had her first racing weekend with Iron Lynx last weekend in France.
“We are exceptionally proud to be able to bring the first all-woman racing squad to race with Ferrari in the GT World Challenge Europe.”
