The No. 8 Toyota GR010 Hybrid is battling multiple issues with six hours remaining in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
While still running second overall, behind the race-leading No. 7 Toyota Gazoo Racing entry, Sebastian Buemi has been forced to shorten his stint length in the No. 8 car and also came to a stop on track briefly in the 18th hour.
Buemi, who has also reported vibrations, now runs nearly one lap behind the No. 7 Toyota of Kamui Kobayashi.
The No. 36 Alpine A480 Gibson of Andre Negrao is third overall, four laps behind, while the No. 708 Glickenhaus 007 of Olivier Pla is fourth overall and in the debuting Hypercar class.
Team WRT has continued its stranglehold of LMP2, with a 1-2 run led by the No. 31 Oreca 07 Gibson of Charles Milesi.
The No. 28 JOTA Sport Oreca of Tom Blomqvist runs third in class.
AF Corse’s Come Ledogar leads GTE-Pro in the No. 51 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo ahead of the No. 63 Chevrolet Corvette C8.R of Jordan Taylor.
Trouble continued for the No 52 AF Corse entry, which had a right-front puncture and is limping back to the pits.
It has resulted in a Slow Zone due to debris from Sam Bird’s puncture.
GTE-Am continues to be paced by the No. 83 AF Corse Ferrari of Nicklas Nielsen, who is one lap ahead of the No. 33 TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage GTE in second.
