Cugliari Breaks Ruud’s TCX Win Streak at Road America

Stephen Cugliari ended Jacob Ruud’s seven-race win streak in Race 2 of the weekend for TC America powered by Skip Barber Racing School competition at Road America.

The driver of the No. 57 Accelerating Performance BMW M2 CS Cup car passed Ruud in Sunday’s 40-minute race to take victory over the Classic BMW driver for overall honors and in the TCX class.

It came after a flag-to-flag run for Ruud in Race 1 on Saturday.

Austen Smith (Auto Technic BMW M240iR) and Eric Powell (Skip Barber Racing School Honda Civic Type-R) earned TC class wins while Carter Fartuch swept the TCA weekend in his Skip Barber-run Honda Civic Si.
