Hurley Haywood Documentary Set for Release

“Hurley” documentary set for video on-demand, streaming release on March 26…

A documentary profiling the on and off-the-track life of Hurley Haywood is set to be released to major digital platforms next week.

“Hurley”, directed by Derek Dodge with executive producer Patrick Dempsey, tells the story of Haywood’s illustrious career and the secret he kept while becoming one of the most successful sports car racing drivers of all-time.

The film builds on the release of Haywood’s autobiography last year, when the five-time Rolex 24 at Daytona and three-time Le Mans winner came out as gay.

A screening of the documentary was shown on Monday evening at the Petersen Automotive Museum, ahead of its official release to video-on-demand and streaming platforms on March 26.

Haywood is set to serve as Grand Marshal for this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans.
