No fewer than 34 cars are set to take part in next weekend’s IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, with at least a handful of additional entries still expected for the third round of the 2016 season.

ENTRY LIST: CTSC Monterey

The GS class for Monterey has shrunk to seven entries, with Rebel Rock Racing (Porsche 997), Muehlner Motorsports (Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport) and Rum Bum Racing (Porsche 997) all currently not listed, but at least Rum Bum expected to take part next weekend.

Following their breakthrough win — the first for the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport in international competition — Trent Hindman and Cameron Cassels will be seeking back-to-back overall wins in their Bodymotion Racing entry.

The second CJ Wilson Racing Cayman GT4 Clubsport, meanwhile, has yet-to-be-announced drivers, while the co-driver for Rob Ecklin in the 99 Automatic Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT4 is also not yet confirmed.

The ST class sees a 27-car entry, including the debut of JDC-Miller Motorsports’ BMW 228i for Stephen Simpson and paralyzed open-wheel standout driver Michael Johnson, who will be making his sports car racing debut.

Tyler Stone is listed in the No. 7 Rebel Rock Porsche Cayman instead of Ian James, who subbed for him at Sebring, while the team’s second ST class entry has to-be-announced drivers.

Elliott Skeer and Robin Liddell drove the No. 8 Rebel Rock entry in the opening two rounds of the season.

Finally, Kevin Boehm has returned to the No. 92 HART Honda Civic Si, after Cameron Lawrence had replaced him at Sebring.

The two-hour and 30-minute Continental Tire Challenge race is set for April 30.
