A total of 40 entries are on the provisional entry list for this weekend’s IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge pre-season test at Daytona, ahead of the four-hour season-opener later this month.

The three-day test, as part of the Roar Before the Rolex 24 weekend, will see more than 30 GT4-spec machines take part alongside nine TCR entries, including IMSA debuts from Honda and Alfa Romeo.

Among the entries in GS are ten 2019-spec Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MRs, which will have its worldwide launch at Daytona on Thursday afternoon.

Park Place Motorsports, BGB Motorsports, AWA, RS1, Bodymotion Racing and TRG are among the first teams to have taken delivery of Porsche’s new GT4 model.

A total of seven GT4 manufacturers are represented on the entry list.

TCR, meanwhile, sees multiple entries from Audi and Honda, along with a KMW Motorsports with TMR Engineering Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR.

The class will see at least one additional manufacturer for the race in the pair of Hyundai Veloster N TCRs fielded by Bryan Herta Autosport.

Unlike the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Roar Before the Rolex 24, the Pilot Challenge test is not mandatory for series competitors.
