More than 100 hours of IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge action will air on FOX Sports television platforms in 2016, including FS1 coverage of every race and a FOX network telecast.

The 54th Rolex 24 At Daytona kicks off 63 hours of live FOX Sports’ coverage of the 2016 WeatherTech Championship season beginning on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 2 p.m. ET on FS1.

FOX Sports will televise 16 hours of the Rolex 24 live across its FS1 and FS2 cable networks as well as FOX Sports Go with FS1 authentication.

A highlight of the 2016 WeatherTech Championship television schedule will be the FOX network live telecast of the Northeast Grand Prix from Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Connecticut on Sat, July 23.

Other coverage highlights include live, flag-to-flag FS1 telecasts of races at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California on Sunday, May 1; Detroit’s Belle Isle Park on Saturday, June 4; the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen from Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, New York on Sunday, July 3; Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario on Sunday, July 10; Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on Sunday, Aug. 7; and VIRginia International Raceway in Danville, Virginia on Sunday, August 28.

“Having live FOX Sports coverage of every IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race is terrific news for IMSA, our stakeholders, and most importantly, our race fans,” said IMSA Vice President, Marketing David Pettit.

“Continuing to offer a robust FS1 schedule for Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge coverage further strengthens our 2016 television package. Working with our partners at FOX Sports, we have been able to secure attractive broadcast windows with strong lead-in content, which should benefit us as we continue to build our audience on television.”

Like the Rolex 24 At Daytona, the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh from Florida at Sebring International Raceway in Sebring, Florida, and the season-ending Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia also will include a mix of live FS1 and FS2 coverage.

Both races open with live FS1 coverage and will be streamed live on the FOX Sports Go app with FS1 authentication when coverage shifts to FS2.

Events with live FS2 coverage include the race on the streets of Long Beach, Calif. on Sat., April 16; Circuit of The Americas in Austin on Sat., Sept. 17 in addition to Daytona, Sebring and Petit Le Mans. IMSA.tv and the IMSA mobile app will feature live streaming coverage of WeatherTech Championship qualifying sessions and any live endurance racing action that is not being carried live by FOX Sports.

All 10 Continental Tire Challenge races will have two-hour, tape-delayed telecasts on FS1. Every Continental Tire Challenge race will be streamed live in its entirety on IMSA.tv and the IMSA mobile app.

Television coverage in Canada will mirror the U.S. schedule on FOX Sports Racing and will also offer live streaming on IMSA.tv and the IMSA mobile app. Other international television coverage plans will be announced shortly. A complete 2016 U.S. and Canada television schedule follows below.
