Defending Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge GS class champion Trent Hindman paced the third practice session for the season-opening BMW Performance 200.

Hindman, co-driving the No. 46 Fall-Line Motorsports BMW M3 with 2014 Daytona winner Ashley Freiberg, posted a 1:56.850 to lead the final half hour practice session before qualifying later on Thursday.

Stevenson Motorsports’ No. 6 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28.R was next, followed by the No. 15 Multimatic Motorsports Ford Mustang Boss 302R.

In ST, Porsche Caymans took four of the top five spots, with the Greg Liefooghe/Eric Zimmermann No. 83 Next Level European entry the class leader at 2:05.685.

Bimmerworld’s No. 84 BMW 328i was next ahead of the No. 56 Murillo, No. 19 and No. 18 Rennsport One Caymans.

Qualifying begins at 2:10 p.m. for ST, and at 2:40 p.m. for GS later Thursday.
