The MINI JCW team will embark on its second full season in the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge ST class this year, to add a bit of variety to a class dominated by Porsche Caymans.

The team is planning a three-car effort, with four of six drivers determined for the team’s Nos. 37, 52 and 73 cars.

Derek Jones and Mat Pombo will return for a full season in the team’s No. 73 MINI. Pombo turned in a storming drive in the rain at Road Atlanta, bringing the car to a second place finish for its first podium of 2015.

James Vance and Ramin Abdolvahabi are also confirmed for full season drives. However, it’s yet to be determined which cars they’ll be driving or if they will be paired in one car.

Ashley Freiberg also tested for MINI during the Roar Before the Rolex 24 test, but hasn’t finalized whether she’ll be driving any races.
