A second Automatic Racing Aston Martin GT4 as well as a Ave Motorsports Audi R8 LMS GT4 have been among additions to the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge field for next week’s season-opener at Daytona International Speedway.

Automatic will field a second new-gen Aston for Rob Ecklin, Brandon Kidd and Ramin Abdolvahabi in addition to its already confirmed No. 99 Invisible Glass-sponsored entry of Gary Ferrera and Kris Wilson.

The No. 09 entry comes in addition to an effort from Ave Motorsports, which will field a GT4-spec Audi for Mike Skeen and Mark Brummond.

Skeen told Sportscar365 that while currently a one-race deal, he’s hopeful the team will take part in additional races this season.

The two additional cars boosts the GS class car count to 33 cars and 51 entries overall for the four-hour BMW Endurance Challenge.
