Sonic Tools Announces Partnership with CJ Wilson Racing

Sonic Tools has expanded its relationship with another IMSA team, in the form of Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge-winning squad CJ Wilson Racing. The company announced the signing today.

The multi-year partnership will see Sonic Tools present for both the race team and various CJ Wilson Automotive Group dealerships.

Sonic products and storage systems will be present the team’s transporter as well as at their Austin, Texas-based race shop.

Likewise, the multi-franchise CJ Wilson Automotive Group will utilize Sonic Tools storage systems and hand tools in its flagship KTM of Murietta store as well as throughout the Wilson CycleSports group of stores.

“Any time as a race team you can partner with a brand that is emerging in the automotive industry, it feels like a win,” Wilson said.

“Sonic is a very exciting company that offers tools and organizational solutions that we really think will elevate our team in the pits, in the paddock and at our shop. This was the easiest racing decision we have made in a few years. I can’t wait to see where we go together in the future.”

CJWR has not announced its plans yet for 2016, but is expected to return to defend its Continental Tire Challenge championship with perhaps one or two additional new elements to its program.
