Stacy Takes Road Atlanta Pole

Lineup set for Sunday’s four-hour Michelin Pilot Challenge race…

Nate Stacy will start Sunday’s IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge four-hour enduro from the pole position.

The KohR Motorsports driver claimed his second pole in the last three races, taking the No. 60 Aston Martin Vantage GT4 to a fast lap of 1:26.134.

Stacy outpaced the No. 7 Archangel Motorsports Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport of Trent Hindman by 0.031 seconds.

Friday’s pace-setting No. 22 Multimatic Motorsports Ford Mustang GT4 of Seb Priaulx qualified third in class ahead of defending GS class champion Tyler McQuarrie in fourth.

Robby Foley, fresh off Saturday’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race, completed the top-five in the No. 95 Turner Motorsport BMW M4 GT4.

Harry Gottsacker, meanwhile, claimed top qualifying honors in TCR.

The Bryan Herta Autosport driver reeled off a 1:29.143 in the No. 21 Hyundai Veloster N TCR, outpacing the No. 5 KMW Motorsports with TMR Engineering Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR of Tim Lewis by 0.061 seconds.

Max Faulkner will start third in class in the No. 23 FASTMD Racing with Speed Syndicate Audi RS 3 LMS TCR.

The VP Racing Stay Frosty Coolants 240 gets underway Sunday at 12:10 p.m. ET with live coverage on Trackpass by NBC Sports Gold and IMSA Radio.
