Michael Valiante will return to the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge in 2016, and will resume with the HART team in the ST class.

Valiante reunites with Chad Gilsinger in the No. 93 Honda Civic Si, following a year’s hiatus from the series. He focused solely on the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship in 2015 but lost his seat at Visit Florida Racing at the end of the season.

“I am really looking forward to joining the team again and driving the latest Civic,” Valiante said. “We have a great driver line up and a very dedicated team of mechanics who volunteer to make this such a great effort.”

The move also brings a measure of stability for the No. 93 Honda, which saw Gilsinger share the car with Peter Cunningham, Kuno Wittmer, Kevin Boehm, Ryan Eversley and Cameron Lawrence in 2015. Eversley and Gilsinger won at Road America while Valiante and Gilsinger last won at Kansas, in 2014.
