VOLT Porsche GT4 Paces Pilot Challenge Testing at Roar

VOLT Racing’s Trent Hindman set the benchmark time across three days of testing for the Michelin Pilot Challenge competitors at the Roar Before the 24 test.

Hindman’s fast time of 1:53.522 in the No. 77 Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport capped off a strong debut for the team’s new relationship with Park Place Motorsports, and came in the first on track running for the car in customer hands.

In all, the top six fastest laps of the test were set in the new Cayman with four different teams accounting for the times.

Eric Foss was the quickest of the non-Porsche runners, notching the seventh fastest time in the GS class in the No. 56 Murillo Racing Mercedes-AMG GT4, followed by Kenton Koch in the eEuroparts ROWE Racing Audi R8 LMS GT4 and James Clay’s No. 82 BimmerWorld Racing BMW M4 GT4.

Jon Morley was the quickest of the TCR competitors in the No. 61 Audi RS3 LMS TCR for Roadshagger Raging by eEuroparts, jumping to the top of the charts in the final session of the weekend.

Lee Carpentier was second fastest in the associated No. 10 eEuroparts ROWE Racing Audi, followed by the Honda Civic Type R TCR cars of Tom O’Gorman, Todd Lamb, and Ryan Eversley.
