A total of 29 cars are set to take part in next weekend’s Cadillac Grand Prix of Sebring, the third round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

Released on Wednesday by IMSA, the entry list features eight DPi cars, six GT Le Mans entries, ten cars in GT Daytona and the return of LMP2, which has five entries.

The drop in GTD entries from last weekend’s WeatherTech 240 at Daytona is reflective of the July 18 race only counting towards the WeatherTech Sprint Cup.

Meyer Shank Racing is the only team to elect to skip the race as a result, with the Ohio-based squad not having planned to contest the Sprint Cup-only rounds this year.

The remainder of the GTD field is unchanged from Daytona.

Felipe Nasr, who missed the July 4 race due to testing positive for COVID-19, is listed in the No. 31 Action Express Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R, while Stephen Simpson is set to make his DPi return to JDC-Miller Motorsports alongside Tristan Vautier in the team’s No. 85 Cadillac.

As revealed by Sportscar365, Gustavo Menezes will sub for Ben Hanley in the No. 81 DragonSpeed Oreca 07 Gibson in LMP2, while Simon Trummer is still listed in the No. 52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports Oreca but is not expected to drive due to his European Le Mans Series commitments.

Patrick Kelly has been drafted into the PR1/Mathiasen entry as the mandatory Bronze-rated driver.

Full-season lineups from Performance Tech Motorports, Era Motorsport and Tower Motorsport by Starworks remain unchanged from originally announced plans, meanwhile.

Track action for the WeatherTech Championship kicks off on Friday July 17 with the two-hour and 40-minute race taking the green flag Saturday at 5:40 p.m. ET.
