A total of 34 entries across four classes are set for next weekend’s Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
Released on Wednesday, the entry list for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s annual trip North of the Border comprises of nine GTP cars, six LMP3s, five GTD Pro entries and 14 GTDs.
There are no changes in the top class, while Canadian racers Antoine Comeau and George Staikos will join Ave Motorsports’ Ligier JS P320 Nissan in LMP3.
The LMP3 field marks its lowest car count of the season, with several teams electing not to make the trip to Canada.
GTD Pro sees all five of its full season entries, with GTD completing the field, also with no changes.
Confirmation of PJ Hyett in the No. 80 AO Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R means that the Bronze-rated driver will not be taking part in the 6 Hours of Monza FIA World Endurance Championship round, which falls on the same weekend.
An updated entry list for the WEC round was also released on Wednesday, omitting Hyett, as well as usual GTE-Am co-driver Gunnar Jeannette.
The Heart of Racing, meanwhile, will concentrate fully on CTMP with its two-car Aston Martin Vantage GT3 effort.
