AO Racing will continue with its joint LMP2 and GTD Pro effort in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship next year, it has been announced.

The Illinois-based squad will once again field both the No. 99 Oreca 07 Gibson and No. 77 Porsche 911 GT3 R, which will mark the third consecutive season it has run a two-car effort.

Both ‘Spike’ and ‘Rexy’ are still in contention for both of their respective class championships heading into this weekend’s finale at Motul Petit Le Mans, with PJ Hyett and Dane Cameron leading the LMP2 standings while Laurin Heinrich and Klaus Bachler sit fourth in GTD Pro.

Initially debuting in 2023 in the GTD category before expanding its presence in the series the following year, the Gunnar Jeanette-led squad won the GTD Pro championship with Laurin Heinrich last year.

Drivers for both entries will be announced at a later date.
