Earl Bamber topped the time charts in warmup for this afternoon’s Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
The Chip Ganassi Racing driver recorded a best time of 1:05.666 to edge out the 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Acura ARX-05 of Filipe Albuquerque by 0.383 seconds.
Bamber’s quick lap bettered co-driver Alex Lynn, who was atop the list for the majority of the session.
The DPi pole-sitting No. 60 Meyer Shank Racing Acura was third in the hands of Oliver Jarvis.
LMP3 was led by the No. 30 Jr III Racing Ligier JS P320 Nissan of Garett Grist, while Corvette Racing’s Antonio Garcia topped GTD Pro for the first time this weekend.
The No. 12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 of Aaron Telitz was quickest in GTD, meanwhile.
All but the No. 54 CORE autosport Ligier and No. 9 Pfaff Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R turned laps in the 20-minute session, with both teams electing to sit out warmup.
The Chevrolet Grand Prix gets underway at 3 p.m. ET with live coverage on NBC and Peacock.
