Marco Bonanomi will make his TUDOR United SportsCar Championship debut in this weekend’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen, as the Audi factory driver bolsters Fall-Line Motorsport’s lineup for the third round of the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup.
The 29-year-old Italian joins full-season drivers Charles Espenlaub and Charlie Putnam behind the wheel of the team’s GTD-class Audi R8 LMS.
Bonanomi, who is fresh off the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the No. 3 Audi R18 e-tron quattro, is a former Italian GT champion with the Audi Sport Italia squad and also won the 2012 Zolder 24 Hours at the wheel of an R8 LMS.
Other late additions to the entry list for Sunday’s round include Brandon Davis joining Alessandro Balzan and Jeff Westphal in the No. 63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 and Mike Hedlund set for his Prototype Challenge debut in Performance Tech’s Oreca FLM09 with David Ostella.
Practice for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen gets underway on Friday.
