Braun Quickest Again for MSR in Session 4 at Roar

Meyer Shank Racing continued to lead the way at the Roar Before the Rolex 24, with Colin Braun quickest in the fourth session of the weekend and second of the day at Daytona International Speedway.

Braun recorded a benchmark 1:35.038 time in the No. 60 Acura ARX-06 to edge out the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti Autosport entry of Brendon Hartley by 0.118 seconds.

Phillip Eng put the No. 24 Team RLL BMW M Hybrid V8 third on the time sheets, ahead of the sister No. 25 car of Nick Yelloly in fourth and the No. 7 Porsche Penske Motorsport entry, which completed the top five in the GTP class.

The No. 6 Porsche 963 was sixth, while the three Cadillac V-LMDh cars brought up the rear of the nine-car field.

Aston Martin factory driver Nicki Thiim topped the production-based ranks in his No. 44 Magnus Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3, edging out the GTD Pro class pace-setting No. 64 Team TGM/TF Sport Aston of Hugh Plumb by 0.039 seconds.

The No. 32 Team Korthoff Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo was best of the rest in third, ahead of the GTD Pro class No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3.

LMP2 was led by the No. 04 CrowdStrike Racing by APR Oreca 07 Gibson of Ben Hanley, while Nico Pino topped LMP3 in the No. 33 Sean Creech Motorsport Ligier JS P320 Nissan.

A two-hour night session wraps up the day for the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship competitors beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.
