Colin Braun has remained on top of the time sheets at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, with further improvements from CORE autosport’s Oreca 07 Gibson in the third and final practice for Sunday’s Mobil 1 Sportscar Grand Prix.

Braun reeled off a series of quick laps late in the 60-minute session, ultimately ending up with a weekend-best 1:06.712 lap.

It was 0.314 seconds quicker than the No. 6 Team Penske Acura ARX-05 of Dane Cameron, who was second on the time sheets, followed by the No. 31 Action Express Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R of Felipe Nasr in third.

The No. 7 Penske Acura DPi returned to action after an overnight rebuild following Helio Castroneves’ accident in Practice 2. Castroneves set the 9th quickest time.

Porsche again led the way in GT Le Mans, with the pair of 3GT Racing Lexus RC F GT3s topping GT Daytona.

An accident for the No. 44 Magnus Racing Audi R8 LMS of John Potter at Moss Corner brought out the session’s only red flag.

Qualifying is on tap for 12:10 p.m. EDT.
