The Cadillac DPi-V.R has gone back to its minimum weight prior to last weekend’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship round at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, as part of the latest round of Balance of Performance adjustments.

Issued by IMSA on Thursday, the Dallara-chassied Cadillac will return to 945 kg for next weekend’s Lexus Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio as the only BoP change in the DPi class.

Cadillacs finished third through sixth in the first two-hour and 40-minute race of the WeatherTech Championship season following a dominant display by the pair of Acura ARX-05s at Laguna Seca.

The Acura remains at a minimum weight of 920 kg, which was most recently adjusted last month in the run-up to the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.

The only other BoP change for Mid-Ohio comes in the GTD ranks, with the Porsche 911 GT3 R getting a 10 kg increase in its minimum weight.

It comes after a double victory by Porsche customer teams in GTD Pro and GTD last weekend, won by Pfaff Motorsports and Wright Motorsports, respectively.
