Former Daytona 500 winner Austin Dillon and reigning 24 Hours of Le Mans GTE-Am class winner Salih Yoluc have joined RWR Eurasia’s lineup for the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
The two drivers join the previously confirmed Cody Ware at the wheel of the team’s Ligier JS P217 Gibson for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season opener on Jan. 30-31.
Dillon, a regular in the NASCAR Cup Series with Richard Childress Racing, will be making his sports car racing debut while Bronze-rated Turkish driver Yoluc is set for his first Rolex 24 outing and return to LMP2 machinery for the first time since the 2018/19 Asian Le Mans Series season.
The joint effort between the Philippines- based Eurasia crew and North Carolina’s Rick Ware Racing has yet to confirm its fourth driver for the race.
The Ligier entry is one of an expected 11 or 12-car field in LMP2, which is expected to break a class record in the modern era of IMSA competition.
