The No. 57 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo has been stripped of its GTD class pole position for the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring due to a technical infraction.

The times from the Phillip Ellis-driven Mercedes-AMG in qualifying were disallowed by IMSA after it was found the car had non-permitted sensors installed during the session.

It has promoted the No. 47 Cetilar Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 of Antonio Fuoco to the class pole for Saturday’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship enduro.

The No. 12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3, qualified by Parker Thompson, will now line up second in class, followed by the No. 32 Korthoff/Preston Motorsports Mercedes-AMG.
