Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates has confirmed its driver lineup for its two-car effort in next month’s TUDOR United SportsCar Championship season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Charlie Kimball and CGR development driver Sage Karam will be in the No. 01 Riley-Ford. They’ll partner with Scott Pruett and new full-season recruit Joey Hand. Kimball returns to the Rolex after a year’s absence, replacing Marino Franchitti.

The sister No. 02 will see Ganassi’s two confirmed IndyCar drivers, Scott Dixon and Tony Kanaan, along with its two NASCAR drivers, Jamie McMurray and Kyle Larson. McMurray was in the No. 01 last year but shifts to the “all-star car” this year.

“I love this race because it is one of the few times that we are able to bring all of our drivers and partners together in one race,” said team owner Chip Ganassi. “NASCAR, INDYCAR and IMSA drivers and partners are all represented in this unique endurance event.

“We have had the good fortune of having success in this event which is the result of a lot of hard work by the crew, talent behind the wheel and at some level, a little luck. But I think the best thing about the Rolex 24 is that it is the first event of another season. I can’t wait.”

The No. 02 entry traditionally runs at Daytona and last year ran at Daytona and Sebring, but no further races have been confirmed yet for this car beyond what was announced Thursday.

As for partners, all of CGRT’s drivers and primary partners (Target, Ford, McDonald’s, CESSNA, Novo Nordisk and NTT DATA) will be represented across the No. 01 and No. 02 entries.
