IMSA Fan Fest Set for Sebring

“Twelve Hour Fan Fest” in downtown Sebring set for Tues. March 13, featuring transporter parade, cars and drivers…

IMSA has announced the inaugural “Twelve Hour Fan Fest” in downtown Sebring, for Tues. March 13, kicking off with a transporter parade, along with a host of WeatherTech SportsCar Championship cars and drivers on hand.

It is the second major pre-race event to be organized, following the “Twenty-Four Premiere at One Daytona” last month, prior to the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

The free community event in Sebring will allow fans to welcome their favorite teams and drivers as transporters enter Circle Park Drive from Sebring Parkway and North Ridgewood Drive at 5:30 p.m.

Music and entertainment at the circle will start at 5 p.m. with many drivers competing in the 66th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Advance Auto Parts taking part in autograph sessions, fan forums and meet and greets.

Food trucks, Sebring International Raceway displays, photo opportunities with the Corvette pace car and several race cars from the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship will be on display.

Other highlights will include opportunities to win race tickets and other giveaways.

The event will celebrate the significance of the historic race for residents of Sebring and Highlands County and be a way for the city, IMSA and the Raceway to say thank you to residents who make the race an internationally significant event.

All Fan Fest activities will take place from 5-9 p.m.
