***WTR’s Ricky and Jordan Taylor have closed to within 15 points of Prototype championship leaders Richard Westbrook and Michael Valiante following last weekend’s Mobil 1 Sportscar Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, following Jordan Taylor’s hard-fought late-race battle with Dane Cameron.

***CORE autosport has extended its lead in Prototype Challenge to 10 points over PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports’ Mike Guasch and Tom Kimber-Smith, who struck bad luck yet again in regular-distance race, following mechanical issues to their Oreca FLM09 at the end of the opening hour.

***Next weekend’s Northeast Grand Prix, which will feature Prototype Challenge and GT Daytona cars only, has been increased from a two-hour to a two-hour and 40-minute race. It comes following the decision to combine the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge GS and ST classes into a single race.
