Iron Dames will make its debut outing in the Rolex 24 at Daytona in January as part of a full Michelin Endurance Cup effort.

The all-female crew will head to Daytona as part of a three-car entry for Iron Lynx, which will kick off a new chapter as a Lamborghini-affiliated squad at the Florida endurance classic.

They will pilot the No. 83 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 at the event, in what will be the racing debut for Lamborghini’s updated car.

Alongside the Dames entry, Iron Lynx will also field cars No. 19 and No. 63 at the event, with the latter of the two carrying on to contest the remainder of the Endurance Cup rounds alongside the Iron Dames.

Drivers have yet to be announced for the three-car effort.

The Daytona plans were confirmed as part of a wider tie-up between Iron Lynx, Iron Dames and Lamborghini at the end-of-year Grand Finals event in Portimao.

At the event, Michelle Gatting and Doriane Pin are racing a Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 as a wild card entry into both the Super Trofeo Europe finale as well as the Grand Finals event on Saturday and Sunday.

It will mark the first time that the Iron Dames will have contested a round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

The operation, mainly consisting of Gatting, Pin, Rahel Frey and Sarah Bovy, experienced a breakthrough season this year.

They took the team’s first victory in endurance racing with a Gold Cup class win in the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa and put together a solid campaign in both the FIA World Endurance Championship and the European Le Mans Series.

After multiple pole positions and podiums, Bovy, Gatting and Pin closed off their season by winning the European Le Mans Series Portimao finale in the GTE class.
